How to use Countback
πͺ Running the event
Organiser guide
The whole event in the order it happens: course, entries, packs, the morning switch, results.
π On the desk
Registration desk
Check teams in, read out codes, fix a substitute's handicap β and nothing you can break.
βοΈ Keeping the score
Recording scores
Your team's card on your phone: gross shots in, points worked out, dead spots handled.
π Playing or watching
Following the day
The live leaderboard, the course card and the clubhouse screen β no code, no sign-in.
π± Everyone
Put it on your home screen
Ten seconds on iPhone or Android, and Countback opens like an app β even with no signal.
Countback runs the live side of a golf day: entries, team packs, check-in, live scoring and results.
π The one rule: the club's signed paper cards remain the official record. Countback is the live board everyone watches β not the referee.

π Codes, not accounts
Nobody has an account or a password. Everything opens with a short code:
- ποΈ Organiser code β opens everything, for every event. Guard it.
- πͺ Event code β opens one event's admin.
- π Desk code β opens the registration desk and nothing else. Safe to hand to a volunteer.
- βοΈ Team code β opens one team's scorecard and nothing else. It's printed in that team's pack.
π‘ Type any code at the site's front door and it takes you to the right place. Codes are not case sensitive.
